Diamond Posse Rides for the vets
I am so honored to be doing this ride. Thank you did not seem like it was enough for the personal sacrifice that every single service man and woman has given (and continues to give) for us, the American people. While I enjoy my life, the freedom to ride my motorcycle across the country, be respected as a woman with something valuable to say and contibute to the world; our servicemen/women are selflessly giving of themselves. I know that I will not be joining them as they serve this great country but I want to be of service to them. What do they want? What do they need?
What is YOUR freedom worth. For the veteran who lost a limb in war in service to you...what is that worth. For the veteran who left her family and came home unable to shut out the things that she saw and was asked to do on behalf of the USA, what is that worth to YOU. How can YOU help. The Fallen Heros fund supports a facility in Texas that Rehabs our wounded warriors. The facility is owned by the American people and the veterans who are rehabbed in this facility get the finest care that can be found. They are coached through learning to walk again on prothestics, enjoying extreme sports from a wheelchair or a boogie board in the wave pool. They learn that war can take a limb but it can only take their soul if they let it. If they so wish they are assisted back to active duty, something a motorcyclist can certainly understand. While in the past only 2% of veterans returned to active duty the Intrepid is assisting 18% to return. Please contribute to the Fallen Heros Fund. What is your freedom worth to YOU?
